DNA Testing

DNA sport

The DNA Sport test examines various genetic variants and their relationship to trainability, enabling you to optimise and personalise your training within your specific sport.

Specifically, the test assesses your endurance and power potential, your ability to recover, and your risk of injury. There are also some nutritional aspects, such as caffeine metabolism and sensitivity to salt, determined by the test.

Insight into these genetic variants can help you get the most out of your training and identify weaknesses that need to be improved. It will also help you with optimising your recovery.

DNA active

The DNA test is designed to help you live a healthier active life. This test looks at gene variants involved in both diet and lifestyle aspects to help you with your weight management and training strategy.

The report will give you insight into your endurance and power potential, injury risk and recovery, your peak training time, susceptibility to muscle cramping, pressure response, caffeine metabolism, and fat and carbohydrate metabolism.

DNA Diet

DNA diet is a genetic test to help you manage your weight.  The results will help you guide your nutrition intake; for example, what fats you should eat and when, the same for carbohydrates, and whether you have a sweet tooth.

Besides your metabolism, it also looks at your obesity risk, feeding behaviour, exercise responsiveness, inflammation, and circadian rhythm.

The results will help us to optimise your diet to ensure health and weight management and, when needed, the addition of supplements.

DNA health

The DNA health test is designed to optimise health and well-being. The results can help improve your nutrition for good health and lower your risk of certain diseases.

36 gene variants are assessed with the test that have been linked to certain chronic diseases.

  • Cholesterol metabolism and risk for heart disease
  • Bone health and risk for osteoporosis
  • Vitamin B metabolism and risk for cancer
  • Inflammation and oxidative stress
  • Detoxification
  • Insulin sensitivity and risk for diabetes
  • Food responsiveness, including:
    • lactose intolerance, caffeine processing, salt sensitivity, blood pressure
    • iron overload disorders

DNA core

DNA core combines many of the other DNA tests and helps you to live a healthier and active life, while helping you achieve your exercise goals and manage your weight.

The DNA core report not only includes your macronutrient requirements (fat, carbohydrate, protein) but also examines metabolism-related micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and food intolerance and sensitivity.

Your risk for certain diseases, such as cholesterol, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, and osteoporosis, is identified, while also gaining insight into how you respond to exercise, how well you recover, and your risk for injury.

With the DNA core, we can design both a nutrition and exercise plan to improve your fitness, health, and body composition while mitigating certain health risks.

How does it work

Step 2: The DNAlysis test kit will be delivered to your desired address; use it to collect your DNA sample.

Step 3: Your sample is then sent back to the DNAlysis laboratory. Once the report is ready, it will be sent to Fuel Form within 21 days.

Step 4: Once we receive the report, we will contact you to book a consultation session to discuss the results and start working on your goals.
